Re: Formula and Calculated Key Figures Results

Hello Shipra,

1KYFNM is the field/object which specifies the Key figure name on which the restriction has been applied.

For e.g., The Key Figure Avg Price (1KYFNM) is the one which is restricted on Fiscal Year and 0P_FYR1 is a variable which would be used by users to fill the value at run time of the query.

That means that the value of the key figure is restricted on the fiscal year, so when you would be entering the value of the fiscal year in the selection screen or as a filter, the value of the key figure would be changing as per current selection of the fiscal year.

Regards to your example:

When the value of these KFs would as below:

KEYFIG1 = X

KEYFIG2 = X

KEYFIG3 has been restricted two characteristics having value as 'X'. KEYFIG3 value would shown only when those two are X. Generally, the value of the KEYFIG1 and KEYFIG2 are not hard coded. For e.g. Suppose your key figure is Sales Quantity and you want to restrict it based on any Material which is your Characteristics then simply drag and drop your KF and right click on it and just restrict it by the characteristics Material. This will restrict your KF Sales Quantity on the Material Characteristics.

When you use a Filter, i.e. use a characteristics and restrict it to some values in the filter area this applies to all the KFs, you may include in the query. On the other hand in an RKF, the restriction of characteristics (here material) values affects only this key figure.

If my understanding is correct, your KEYFIG3 is CCLFIG, when the restriction on KEYFIG1 and KEYFIG2 is satisfied, then your calculated KF CCLFIG value would calculated as per it's calculation and would be shown in the query.

Regards,

Sagar
